In this report will be discussed the mechanical cleavage test for characterization of polymer. It serves as a reliable guide in the selection of material, semi-finished and finished products, and applications. These tests also have the advantage of clearly indicating the obvious weak points in any initial design. The data can then also be used to indicate the most likely modification that will result in optimum performance. The report contains some results of the cleavage-test.
