TMA-Microrheological Testing of Polymers (Thermomechanical Analysis)
1987 (English) Report (Refereed)
Abstract [en]
TMA-micro-rheological testing provides a sensitive method for determining rheological behaviour of polymer in transit- and molten state by measuring the forming properties as a function of temperature, load and time. For the important rheological properties very small amounts of material, 5-30 mg, are used. Data may be used for quality control, research, development, and establishment of processing condition. It also serves as a guide in the selection of materials for application.
