This report describes test methods for chimney liners and connecting flue pipes made of metals, other inorganic materials (e.g. clay, ceramic, glass), metals with organic coatings, and polymers. The test methods evaluate mechanical resistance and stability, thermal performance, cleaning, and materials reliability and durability. Most methods are in accordance with the present standardisation work within the Technical Committee CEN/TC 166 "Chimneys".
