Abstract [en]

The correct estimation of the long-term performance of district heating pipes operating up to 120 °C over their expected service life has been a recognised challenge for many years. The methods used for lifetime prediction have so far been inadequate. Here, the authors describe the most important elements that must be considered to achieve results consistent with ageing during service life.
