Abstract [en]

The aim of the project was to compare the calibration capabilities for high valued capacitance (50 μF) and its losses at MIKES-HUT (Finland) and SP (Sweden). Comparison measurements were performed using 50 Hz alternating voltage of 10 V and 200 V. The results show that either capacitance bridge with lead compensation, or a voltage/current sampling system can be used for accurate determination of capacitance value and its loss angle in the microfarad range. © 2004 IEEE.
