RISE - Research Institutes of Sweden, ICT, SICS.
1991 (English)Report (Other academic)
Abstract [en]

This Thesis discusses the ideas behind the development of a multi media based presentation program for construction methods. The problem domain for construction methods is analized and presented. A discussion of various ways to implement a multi media based presentation program is included as well as a description of an implemented prototype. The prototype is implemented in HyperCard and features voice input/output, animated sequences, and video. The presented data reside in a prolog based database residing on a Sun Sparc station. HyperCard communicates with the prolog application via Ether Net.
